The police in Odendaalsrus are looking for the mother of a newborn baby girl who was found abandoned on Friday, 29 September 2023 at about 10:50, just outside a house in K10 section in Kutloanong.
The baby was found with an umbilical cord still attached and was covered with a dirty towel. She was taken to one of the hospitals in Matjhabeng Municipality precinct for medical treatment.
The police were informed and a case of Child Neglect, Attempted murder and failure to report birth was registered for further investigation.
