A Black Mamba measuring approximately two (2) meters was captured by a Reaction Officer on Vincent Dickenson Road in Canelands – KZN today (Thursday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance after the highly venomous snake was discovered in the engine compartment of an earth moving machine at a sand mining business. Reaction Officer Nkosinathi Ndaba was immediately dispatched and on arrival captured the reptile. The snake was safely relocated.
This is the fourth Black Mamba captured by Officer Ndaba in two weeks.
