A 26-year-old man was discovered hanging from the rafter in his rented home in Hazelmere – KZN today (Friday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance after neighbours made the discovery. RUSA Paramedics were immediately dispatched and arrived on scene at approximately 10:43.
RUSA Members were led several meters through a pathway before they reached the deceased’s home. According to neighbours, they were conducting a wellness check when they found him hanging by an electrical cord tied to a wooden rafter in his room. He was last seen on Wednesday. His body is in the early stages of decomposition.
Circumstances leading to the incident has not been established.
