On Sunday, 24 December 2023 Tholoane Direko, 16-year-old, was at home with her mother in Phase 4, Bloemspruit near Bloemfontein. She informed her mother that she was going out at about 15:00 and never returned home.
Her mother then reported Tholoana missing at Bloemspruit police station.
