Thembalethu police is seeking the assistance of the public in the search for Iminathi Sifuba from Mdongwe in Thembalethu, George who was reported as missing by her mother last night, 06 January 2024.
Preliminary reports available surrounding her disappearance suggest that the girl left her residence on Friday, 05 January 2024 and never returned. The girl with short braids was dressed in a black short pants, yellow crocs and black and white ‘Mickey Mouse’ t-shirt at the time of her disappearance.
Detectives attached to the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences unit (FCS) are investigating the matter.
The investigation officer, Sergeant Leslin Moos, is urging the public to come forward with any information about the whereabouts of the girl. Anyone with information may contact the investigation officer at 082 522 1049. Alternatively, the public may share information via Crime Stop at 08600 10111 or the MySAPS app.
