Two female puppies abandoned by their owners were rescued from a storm water drain on High Street in Grangetown – KZN.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call from a resident after they made the discovery.
On arrival, a Reaction Officer proceeded several metres down an embankment.
He located one pup in the dense vegetation and her sibling in a storm water drain. The dogs are believed to have been intentionally dumped by their owner.
They were transported to RUSA HQ where they will be kennelled.
