Help in reuniting Mr William Kgaladi Mametsa with his family

The Police at Mmametlhake urge members of the public to assist in reuniting Mr William Kgaladi Mametsa (73), from Marapyane with his family.

According to information Mr Mametsa was last seen by his younger brother who resides with him, on Sunday, 14 January 2024 at about 12:30.

His younger brother indicated that they were together at their place of residence when a herd of cattle entered and entered their yard.

According to this family member, they both took the herd of cattle out of the yard. It was during this time when his elder brother reportedly informed him that he will take this herd of cattle a few kilometres further away from their yard.

Since that time the older brother did not return home. A massive search around the nearby surrounding areas, with other family members and friends as well as relatives was conducted but without any success.

The family members also said that he would usually go out to a local liquor outlet for consumption of liquor but would always return home.

The matter was then reported to the Police at Mmametlhake but up to so far, his whereabouts is unknown.

On the day of his disappearance he was seen wearing a black T-Shirt, green trousers with blue and black boots as well as a yellow cap. He is of average build with a grey moustache.

Police are urging anyone with information that may assist in finding him to contact the Investigating Officer, Detective Sergeant Samson Maloka at 079 499 5506 or call the Crime Stop number at 08600 10111. Alternatively, members of the community can send information via MySAPS App. All received information will be treated as confidential and callers may opt to remain anonymous.
