Three female suspects were handcuffed for assault in Daveyton

The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Bronberg Precinct Officers, arrested three female suspects between the ages of 40 and 49, for assault.

On Saturday 13 January 2024 at about 16h30, the 53-year-old male complainant, was attacked and beaten to a pulp, by the threesome known to him, before he received medical treatment.

He is accused of going on a shopping spree, with his girlfriend’s money, who happens to be their friend.

The EMDP Officers, managed to trace all the suspects, found idling on Bomba street. They were immediately arrested and taken to the Daveyton police station.

The detained trio is expected to appear at the relevant Magistrate’s Court soon.
