Police request community assistance in tracing and arresting four suspects who robbed a woman in her house earlier this morning.
It is alleged that today, 13 February 2024 at about 01:30, a 59-year-old woman was sleeping with her family in separate rooms. They were awoken by four suspects wearing balaclavas and all four of them were in possession of firearms.
The suspects were demanding money as they have claimed that her son is now working at a new plant in the mining industry. They robbed the victim of cash and her cellphone before fleeing the scene in two VW vehicles.
The victim noticed that the front door of the house was forced open. She sustained an injury to her left ankle during this ordeal.
