The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Bronberg Precinct Officers, in conjunction with other stakeholders, conducted by laws enforcement in the Benoni areas.
The EMPD Officers together with other stakeholders, received information about supermarkets around the Benoni area that are selling unsound goods.
Those supermarkets, were visited and unsound goods worth R15000, were confiscated and disposed of. Traffic law enforcement was conducted, and Officers continued to remove posters, that were placed on road traffic signals.
Furthermore, there was a complaint of illegal diesel operation and the complaint, was followed up at Van Ryn Road and it was discovered that there are some diesel activities happening and the owner, was nowhere to be found, there was unauthorized recycling detected, the officers will make a follow up until they get results.
