A Black Mamba measuring approximately 1.5 meters was captured in a ceiling on their property in Canelands – KZN yesterday (Tuesday).
A resident contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) for assistance after they spotted the head of the highly venomous snake protruding from the roof. Reaction Officer Nathi Ndaba was dispatched and on arrival carefully removed the roof tiles with assistance from a tenant.
The Officer thereafter captured and removed the reptile from the property.
