A man is in a critical condition after he suffered extensive burns to most parts of his body during a house fire in Hazelmere – KZN.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance after residents discovered the single room house engulfed in flames. Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and arrived on scene.
Residents managed to contain the fire prior to the arrival of First Responders. A man who resides alone in the house sustained extensive burns.
Firefighters arrived shortly thereafter and extinguished the blaze.
Circumstances leading up to the fire was not established.
