A 51-year-old man was pronounced deceased after he collapsed in his yard on Madrona Drive in Trenance Park – KZN.
A neighbour contacted the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Operations Centre after she witnessed the incident. On arrival, RUSA Members discovered the male lying on the floor in front of his vehicle.
The property was secured with high boundary walls, barbed wire and a vicious dog.
Reaction Officers climbed over the barbed wire and entered the yard. Officers lured the dog to the rear of the property allowing Paramedics to enter the yard and examine the man. He showed no signs of life and was declared deceased.
No foul play was suspected.
