A dog was killed in an accident on Royalmanor Road in Phoenix – KZN.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene and discovered a white Isuzu bakkie lying on its side.
Reaction Officers established that the bakkie veered off the road and overturned before it landed on the 10-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback.
The driver thereafter abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene on foot.
Tow truck operators winched the vehicle while Firefighters removed the canine’s remains.
