Two search and seizure warrants were executed during a Gauteng Counterfeit and Contraband Operation on 04 and 05 July 2024 at Pretoria East and Fordsburg. One suspect was arrested for the contravention of the Counterfeit Goods Act.
The Commercial Crime Investigations members and Brand Protectors seized 184 counterfeit presidential shirts worth R569 000-00.
The suspect will appear before the court soon.
