Launching Women with Drive – ALIVE

MasterDrive’s highly anticipated Women with Drive event is returning to the Festival of Motoring, for the third time, this year. This year’s event will be called Women with Drive – ALIVE! It represents the dynamic, ever-evolving nature of business which is full of possibility for women in the industry.

The CEO of MasterDrive, Eugene Herbert, says the company is proud to host Women with Drive for the eighth consecutive year. “It was the first event to secure its place on our road safety event calendar and our initiatives to promote road safety have only grown in prominence and effect since then.

“This year Women with Drive – ALIVE will shine a light on influential women leading the way within their organisations as they take the next step in their development, promote diversity and uplift other women or those who have led their organisations through several generations.”

The popular panel discussion will again feature as well as the highly anticipated lifestyle presentation addressing topics importance for success in all spheres of life. “The panel discussion, ‘The Ecosystem of Sustainable Mobility: Connecting, Collaborating, and Conquering,’ will look at the future, challenges and opportunities, sustainability and empowerment within the mobility sector, among other important topics.

“The lifestyle presentation will focus on an important aspect vital to the well-rounded success of ladies on the path to success in the mobility industry. Mental wellness for women in the fast lane will look at stress management for women in high-pressure roles, achieving work-life balance as well as addressing mindfulness and resilience.”

An important part of Women with Drive is to show support for an organisation that gives back to the community. The event supports this organisation to either bring awareness to or help in achieving their goals. Women with Drive – ALIVE will feature an organisation that assists vulnerable women.

We look forward to hosting Women with Drive – ALIVE at the Festival of Motoring again. “The event taking place in the pit area of Kyalami Grand Prix circuit adds a great degree of excitement and distinction to an event that also places women at the forefront of mind in what is often a male-dominated industry.

“It will undoubtedly be another exceptional Women with Drive event. The speakers and panellists will share information that will play an invaluable role in the attendees’ own journey to success. Keep an eye on your inbox for an exclusive invite to Women with Drive – ALIVE on 29 August 2024,” says Herbert.
