An 83-year-old man was forced out of his vehicle and thrown on the ground during a hijacking on Wick Street in the Verulam CBD – KZN.
Reaction Officers arrived on scene and located the visibly shaken male standing on the roadside. He explained that he got into his silver 2010 Hyundai Accent with an NJ 28088 registration when three men approached him.
They dragged him out of the car and threw him to the ground before they sped off in his car. The Hyundai badge on the grill is missing. The victim was not injured.
