A suspect targeting homes in Verulam – Kwazulu Natal has been identified as 29-year-old Owen Naidoo.
The suspect was apprehended yesterday by a resident in Sanaa Township. He was released shortly after when the complainant did not desire a crminal case.
Naidoo has been arrested on several occasions by Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) for Copper Theft and Infrastructure Damage and was released when homeowners declined to register cases. The suspect was caught on CCTV camera on
properties in four suburbs (Brindhaven/Parkgate/Dawncrest/Everest Hieghts).
