Suspect appprehended by members of the community in Woodview this morning after he broke into a home and stole grocery hampers.
The suspect was pursued by community members and was successfully Apprehended and the goods recovered.
It is believed the suspect is a known drug user.
Saps was informed of the incident and the suspect was taken to the Phoenix Saps station where he was released as an officer in the charge office refused to detain the suspect unless the Saps member who attended was present.
The goods and suspect was left in the charge office.
