The body of a 27-year-old male was discovered hanging in his bedroom at his home on Frog Road in Waterloo – KZN.
Neighbours contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) for assistance after they made the discovery. On arrival, RUSA Paramedics entered the home and located the man hanging from a rope fastened to a rafter in the ceiling. A suicide note was located at the scene (details withheld).
It was established that the deceased’s room mate grew concerned after he called out to him and received no response. The room door was also locked. The man peered through the bedroom window and discovered the deceased hanging.
Circumstances leading to the suicide were not established.
