We salute Officer Phewa from Fidelity Services Group for coming to the aid of a driver involved in a collision in uMhlanga.
The officer was responding to a call at Heddingham due to a motor vehicle accident at Montague Drive. A vehicle had veered off the road into a boundary wall and down an embankment at a property. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and was lying under the vehicle.
The officer, together with an officer from another security company, managed to safely remove the driver from danger to a safe distance from the scene until further assistance arrived.
The driver was taken away to hospital by the ambulance.
