KZNVIP Were alerted by security guards from a business premises in the Mount Edgecombe Business park area, it was established that an Indian male suspect broke off the geyser from a wall and fled.
Whilst searching for the suspect he was spotted stripping the geyser and burning the outside to camouflage it as an old geyser. 2 other suspects who were assisting fled in the bush.
The suspect was taken to the police station and not arrested as per a warrant officer in the station due to not having a complainant. The suspect was released by Security Officers with the weapons and geyser in the police station.
