Trauma Response Africa was called for assistance at Botshabelo District Hospital outside Bloemfontein to remove a ring from a patient’s finger after he was bitten by a dog, causing severe swelling and subsequently threatening his finger.
The ring proved to be extremely hard and was successfully removed after approximately 45 minutes.
