Members of KZNVIP Were alerted by commuters of a robbery in progress at a store in the Umhlanga Area
Upon arrival it was established that 3 African male suspects armed entered the store under the pretense of being customers shortly before the store closed and produced firearms and forced staff into the back whilst they ransacked the store.
Fortunately the staff escaped unharmed, suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of valuables in an unknown direction
First Responders were asked to leave the mall by the Mall security as they were not needed.
All emergency services were in attendance
