JMPD Security Personnel and Officer apprehend suspects in Braamfontein

A JMPD officer was conducting routine patrols along Hoofd Street, Braamfontein when she observed City of Johannesburg Security personnel engaged in the apprehension of two male suspects. The suspects were observed exiting the Metro Centre building on the northern side with stolen infrastructure.

City of Johannesburg security personnel initiated a foot chase, successfully apprehending two of the suspects. Due to the number of suspects involved, the JMPD officer intervened and assisted in the arresting the duo. The suspects were detained at Hillbrow Police Station for the possession of stolen infrastructure.
