The decomposing body of 82 year old Fana Sencel Ngcobo was discovered in a bush in Sgudu, Ndwedwe – KZN.
The Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Operations Centre received a call for assistance after members of the community discovered Ngcobo’s remains in a bush during a search.
On arrival, Reaction Officers and RUSA Paramedics were led several meters from the main road to the location of the body of the elderly man. Ngcobo was reported missing on Monday (05/08/2024).
According to his family he had a history of Dementia and previously left his residence for days before being located.
