A resident in Petervale spotted two suspicious persons walking along Cowely road wearing a jacket that was stolen from his home and carrying his laptop bag.
The resident immediately called Fidelity ADT Bryanston.
On arrival, the Fidelity ADT Armed Response Officers managed to arrest one suspect while the other managed to flee the scene.
The suspect was handed over to SAPS.
