Zulu’s friends arrived at Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) requesting assistance. They explained that they were consuming alcohol at the beach before they decided to swim.
Zulu remained on the shore but was swept away by a freak wave when he attempted handing over clothing to his friends.
One of his friends attempted to rescue him, but he disappeared underwater.
Zulu is a resident of Mhlasini – KZN.
