A stolen Renault Triber that was in the process of being stripped was recovered by Reaction Officers acting on a tip-off.
A member of the public contact the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Operations Centre at approximately 23:28 yesterday afternoon (Sunday). According to the caller, suspects were in the process of stripping the vehicle.
Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and on arrival found that the suspects had fled the scene.
The vehicle was still idling. Several body panels and lights had been removed.
Police confirmed that the vehicle was stolen from Inanda – KZN.
