Help unite Siphesihle Mabaso (13) and Maphamu Mfana Shungube (68) with their families

Police in Schoemansdal request members of the public to help them reunite Siphesihle Mabaso (13) and Maphamu Mfana Shungube (68) with their families.

Siphesihle Mabaso was reported missing yesterday, Sunday 15 September 2024 after she went missing on 07 September 2024. According to information, Siphesihle left home to celebrate the welcoming of Spring.

She never came back home since that day. The family members are not aware of the description of the clothes she was wearing during her disappearance.

Maphamu Mfana Shungube (68) was last seen on 11 September 2024. According to information, Maphamu Mfana Shungube was last seen by his brother at about 04:00. His brother allege that he left him sleeping when he was going to work. His brother received a call from his son reporting that his uncle was nowhere to be found.

The son realised that his uncle was missing when he wanted to give him medication. It is further reported that Shungube is a mental patient who originates from the Kingdom of Eswatini. No discrimination of clothes provided as no one saw him when he went missing.

Police kindly request anyone with information that may assist in finding the two missing persons to contact Sergeant Vusi Bhiya of Schoemansdal SAPS on 076 412 3745 or call the Crime Stop number at 08600 10111.
