It’s Day Two of the National Road Safety Debate and Participatory Educational Techniques (PET) competition.

Today (25 September 2024), the PET Urban Category teams take the stage.

The Mpumalanga Team will be competing against KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng, Free State, Limpopo and Western Cape provinces.

The Urban Category team is from Phumelela Secondary School in Steve Tshwete Local Municipality, and is led by Ms Lindokuhle Mthombeni who is their trainer and an English teacher at the school.

The teams will later get an opportunity to tour Mangaung.
