Members of Empire Protection were alerted by Netstar to a vehicle that was hijacked in the Westham area in KZN.
Members were mobilised as co-ordinates updated. The vechile, a (White) a Renault Kwid, was located doing high speeds on Old Northcoast Road, when attempting to stop the vehicle, suspects opened fire toward member’s and proceeded to increase speed which resulted in members returning fire causing the vechile to crash at the intersection of Chris Hani Road and Old Northcoast Road.
A SAPS CAS was opened for further investigation!
Both suspects were arrested:
One Bravo Mike with single GSW to lower limb being transported to hospital by ALS Paramedics Medical Services under police guard.
One Bravo Mike in police custody.
One Firearm recovered.
