Polokwane stock theft police launch manhunt for suspects involved in stock theft incident in Mothiba grazing field

Polokwane StockTheft Unit are investigating a case of stock theft after six cattle, including two calves, reportedly went missing at Mothiba grazing field, Mankweng policing area on Tuesday, 02 October 2024 at about 10:00.

According to the report, the complainant took out eighteen cattle, including two calves from Kraal to the grazing field. He left them at the grazing field; on Wednesday 03 October 2024 at about 10:00, he went to check for the cattle.

He discovered that six cattle, including two calves, were missing and searched for them without success.

All six cattle are red in colour and brandmarked on the left thigh. They are all estimated to cost of R78 000-00.

Anyone with information that can assist in recovering the stolen cattle and the arrest of the suspects should contact the Investigating Officer Sergeant Botshilo Nesane on 082 565 8135, or Crime Stop number 08600 10111, or nearest police station or share information on MySAPSApp.
