The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Community Liaison Unit (CLU) Officers, Intervention Unit Officers and other stakeholders, arrested two suspects in the Delmore gardens area.
Following on an ongoing investigation about the whereabouts of two individuals who were involved in a hijacking in Boksburg. Officers proceeded to a residence on Slinger street, where two male aged 23 and 25 years old, were found in the vicinity.
Upon conducting a search, the following items were found, x1 Z88 Replica firearm, x1 bag of cat, x16 Sassa cards, x246 of various bank cards, x1 SAPS Cap, x2 cellphones, Multiple simcards and money amounting to R6890.
The due was arrested and taken to Boksburg North Police Station, facing charges of possession of stolen property and possible theft. They are expected to appear at the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court soon.
