The Police in Limpopo have arrested 407 suspects during the ongoing Operation Shanela

The Police in Limpopo have arrested 407 suspects during the ongoing #OperationShanela conducted from 07 to 13 October 2024.

The suspects are facing charges including murder, rape, robberies, house breakings, assaults, dealing in drugs, unlawful possession of firearms, and Contravention of the Immigration Act.

Operations were carried out through roadblocks, stop and searches, and tracing of wanted suspects.

Some of the suspects have started appearing before various Magistrate’s courts across the province.
