A 19-year-old female contacted the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Operations at approximately 14:14.
The frantic caller informed the Controller On Duty that four (4) suspects robbed her residence and fled with household goods.
Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched. On arrival, it was established that three (3) men armed with pangas and a fourth male in possession of a firearm forced their way into the house. They held up a 64 year old woman & her 42 year old daughter.
The teenager concealed herself in the bathroom after hearing the commotion. The suspects confronted her and threatened to rape her. One of their accomplices instructed them not to harm the female. The robbers stole household goods before they fled in a silver Toyota Auris (registration unknown).
No injuries were reported.
