The Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison led a service where officials and Pastors prayed for safety on the roads and the end to Gender Based Violence and Femicide.
They also prayed for unity, good financial health, and healing.
The department holds the prayer annually in all the regions of the province to pray for officials and the challenges the province faces.
This year, the Department was joined by several Pastors from different churches, the local Taxi Association, officials from Nkomazi Local Municipality, Border Management Agency and Malelane SAPS.
The Department will still hold other prayer services in Bohlabela, Nkangala and Gert Sibande regions.
