Earlier this morning, while conducting routine patrols in the Marburg area, a vigilant Mi7 Reaction Officer spotted two men attempting to sell a car radio. One of the men matched the description of a suspect wanted for a theft in the Chestnut area three months ago – from when a similar radio was stolen.
This immediately sparked the Reaction Officer’s suspicion. The men were approached and upon questioning, refused to say where they acquired the item.
Soon after, the client from whom the items were stolen was contacted and positively identified the suspect as well as the stolen radio.
The matter was handed over to the police for further investigation.
