R58 million has been set aside for emerging companies in the area from R139,7 million that has been injected to construct D833.
Inkosi M.W Mhlongo of eLangeni Tribal Council, eNyoni Ward 06 and 12 is happy that finally the main road in the area – connecting Mandeni, Ndulinde, Samungu to Umlalazi, eShowe will be constructed.
Inkosi Mhlongo’a area covers many wards such as 16, 11, 12 and 6.
The MEC for Transport and Human Settlements, Siboniso Duma remarked: “We feel humbled to be welcomed by Inkosi and his Izinduna. Today, marks another phase in the lives of the community.”
