Alert resident who heard suspicious noises went to investigate and noticed two African male suspects pushing a white vw polo along Abervale Drive.
The alert resident notified KZNVIP of the incident and as members approached the scene the suspects abandoned the vehicle and fled into the bushes.
Suspects came in a vehicle which cannot be confirmed make and model at this time.
The vehicle had been moderately damaged as suspects were attempting to start it.
The complainant was located and confirmed it was his vehicle.
All emergency services were in attendance.
