Machine operator suffers burn injuries at an industry in Germiston

City of Ekurhuleni emergency services have contained the fire that broke out late last night at an industry in Germiston.

Germiston, Vosloorus and Albertina fire stations responded to the call and managed to stop the fire from spreading to the neighbouring company.

Once contained the fire crew carried out damping down.

One machine operator sustained burn wounds and was transported to hospital.
