A 38 year old businessman was brutally murdered during a robbery in Amaoti – KZN.
Residents contacted the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Operations Centre after the man’s lifeless body was discovered inside his house. Reaction Officers were dispatched to the scene and on arrival met with the Inanda SAPS.
It was established that suspects gained entry into the home through the roof and accosted the victim. They stole cash from a tuck shop which is attached to the house. The business belonged to the deceased.
The victim was stabbed at least nine times before the suspects fled.
