Fidelity Services Group members received information about two males trying to sell a firearm.
Whilst searching for them, an incident of armed robbery was reported nearby with footage given. The suspects were tracked to the train station bridge, where they were cornered. A blank firearm with one blank round and a wallet that was stolen from a community member was found in the suspect’s possession. Both were charged with armed robbery.
Yesterday, a male was reported to have stolen a folding table on Ridge Road. He was quickly cornered at the CBD taxi rank, still possessing the exhibits. He was detained accordingly, and the goods were handed back to the lawful owner.
