Murder victim found in a bush in Trenance Park

The body of an unidentified man was discovered in a pathway leading from Maple Drive in Trenance Park – KZN to Zwelisha – KZN.

Residents contacted the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) requesting assistance. On arrival, Reaction Officers were led approximately 100 meters down a footpath where the victim’s lifeless body was located.

He sustained a multiple stab wounds to his body. Residents informed Reaction Officers that they heard screams and scuffling in the bush.

The motive for the murder is believed to be robbery.
