Midlands EMS crews, along with the Midlands EMS K9 Unit, were dispatched to Mphophomeni following reports of a foreign national who was severely beaten and stabbed at his residence.
Upon arrival, it was discovered that the patient had already been transported to the local clinic. Crews located him in the back of a bakkie in critical condition, suffering from multiple stab wounds.
He required urgent advanced life support treatment.
After being stabilized on scene, the patient was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
