Yesterday evening, just before midnight, Mi7 National Group’s Armed Response teams were dispatched after an alarm activation at the premises of a business client in the Durban CBD.
With Mi7’s proactive festive season visibility campaign in the city, which saw additional units being dispatched to targeted areas, including the CBD, Reaction Officers arrived to the premises swiftly.
They spotted the suspect trying to flee and apprehended him on site. While he did not get access into the building, he was found in possession of some items stolen from the yard, including a floodlight and cables.
The matter was handed over to the police for further investigation.
