Just after 12:00, the Volunteer Emergency Medical Response Unit received a call for a structural fire at Lintons Corner in Pretoria East. On arrival, we found cables connected to solar panels burning. Security guards from the shopping center managed to contain the fire until firefighters arrived. One guard received treatment on scene for minor smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is not yet known and will be subject to investigation.
