Two armed suspects are being sought for a robbery that occurred at a school in the Verulam CBD – KZN a short while ago.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to Thompson Lane at approximately 13:34. On arrival, it was established that two men dressed in blue jeans and white t-shirts entered the premises on foot. The proceeded directly to the secretarys office and produced firearms.
They robbed her of an undisclosed amount of cash that was raised from school fees and fund raising initiatives as well as a Lenovo laptop. The robbers thereafter fled on foot through the parking lot.
No injuries were reported.
