Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) attended to multiple incidents of water meter thefts in Riyadh and Mountview, Verulam – KZN during the course of last night.
Information received is that drug users are targeting copper pipes and water meters which are allegedly exchanged for Narcotics by drug dealers. Drugs dealers resell the stolen property to scrap yards.
This information was provided to Reaction Officers by suspects who were arrested in the past.
