While on duty in the Daveyton area, members of the Gauteng Traffic Police and Gauteng Traffic Wardens (STT EC) acted on valuable information regarding a suspect in possession of an unlicensed firearm.
The officers responded swiftly and located the suspect at a residence on Lobedu Street.
Upon arrival, they successfully apprehended a male suspect and recovered an unlicensed firearm along with ammunition.
